WhatTheyThink opens up award nominations
One of the leading printing industry publications announced that it would be taking nominations for an annual award.
WhatTheyThink recently stated that it is now officially accepting applications for its fourth annual Environmental Innovation Awards. Firms can apply in the following categories: Environmental Sustainability and Your Community; Environmental Sustainability and Your Plant; Environmental Sustainability and Your Processes; Beyond Environmental Sustainability.
The five companies that win must show they are using a variety of techniques to improve their community and make the process more sustainable. In a release, WhatTheyThink said that it was hoping to honor those who had made a difference in the industry.
"The goal of our Environmental Innovation Awards is to identify those companies on the cutting edge of sustainability solutions -the true thought leaders," the company wrote. Winners will be announced on April 23, the Monday after Earth Day.
One way that companies can become more environmentally friendly is by using tools such as address validation software to ensure items get where they need to go and not waste paper.
