Print trade group to hold free events in Australia
Those in the printing sector will get new guidelines on how best to run operations in Australia, according to a recent announcement from a leading industry group.
Printing Industries stated that Enterprise Connect would be hosting its Workshop, Industry Intelligence and Networking program at no cost to those in attendance thanks to funding from the country's federal government. The sessions will hit a number of different cities Down Under, starting in Brisbane on April 17, 2012.
Those within the host organization said that attendees would be able to learn about how new machines could help with everyday operations, likely including web-to-print software.
"While most improvements can be achieved without investment in new technology, the enabling role of new technology associated with a lower carbon footprint should not be overlooked," said Hagop Tchamkertenian, Printing Industries' national manager for policy and government affairs.
"We will also be incorporating components of the Sustainable Green Print (SGP) program, the Australian printing industry's standard and accredited environmental certification program."
