Improved Click-N-Ship makes mailing packages easier
Upgrading its former mailing software, the U.S. Postal Service recently launched its redesigned Click-N-Ship online tool, which gives users an easier method of navigating the process of printing a shipping label.
The tool makes it easier for businesses and other USPS customers to manage and ship international packages. It provides users with an address book, allows users to ship items again in case they are sent to the wrong address and includes an improved cart capacity that allows users to better manage their shipments.
"Returning Click-N-Ship customers will experience a new and improved usps.com, while new shippers giving Click-N-Ship a try will find an innovative and smart and super-fast way to ship with the U.S. Postal Service," said Kelly Sigmon, vice president of Channel Access. "It’s the simpler way to ship and can be found right on your desktop at Click-N-Ship."
The USPS is also working to improve its efficiency in other ways by consolidating its efforts to make better use of space, staffing, equipment and transportation in processing the nation's mail. But while the USPS takes steps to better serve its customers, some of the changes affecting the service will cut back on hours and locations. Therefore, businesses are well-advised to take the same step the post office did and upgrade postal mailing software to expedite shipping of its products, marketing materials or other direct mail pieces.
