CUSTOM SETTINGS MIGRATION UTILITY
Dear SmartAddresser 5 Customer:
For those of you who are upgrading to SmartAddresser 5, we want to introduce you to a feature that will automatically migrate your custom settings such as labels, match codes, reports, scripts, custom searches, commands, field maps and more from SmartAddresser 2020 3.0 to SmartAddresser 5!
To launch the migration utility please follow these steps:
1. Open SmartAddresser 5, close any windows, so you have a blank screen. Then go to Additions | Migration Utility.
2. The following window will open:
3. In the Migration Utility Window click on the  icon to select your SmartAddresser 2020 3.0 directory, the default directory is C:\Program Files\Datatech\SmartAddresser 2020
4. To convert all your files select Convert All files, then select Start
